How we collect information
On this website we only collect personal information of people signing up to use the website for a Green Open Homes event. We collect only the information needed to carry out this service and we do not contact people for any reason other than regarding this service.
Organisations that sign up can upload details about homes taking part in their events. It is a condition of registering an event that event organisers acknowledge that they are responsible for gaining householders' permission to include their home and to meet all other legal and data privacy obligations. The information is removed from the site two years after the event has taken place.
Your information will be stored a Memset web server and on our own backup copy. We may also store your information in a digital format and on paper at our offices. We will keep your information secure by taking appropriate technical and organisational measures against its unauthorised or unlawful processing and against its accidental loss, destruction or damage.
You have a statutory right to see a copy of the information we hold about you on payment of a fee, which is currently £10. Requests must be made in writing to the CSE office at the address stated in ‘Who we are’ above. If you wish to be removed from the database, contact us on communications@cse.org.uk.
